Roman Demyanenko, born in 1984, is a documentary photographer. He graduated from the Academy of Documentary Photography and Photojournalism “Fotografika” in 2019. His work has been published in newspapers and magazines including The Washington Post, The Calvert Journal, International Photography Magazine, Meduza, Republic, Novaya Gazeta, Forbes, The Moscow Times, RIA Novosti, Izvestia, RBK, TASS. Roman currently lives in Voronezh (The Central Federal District of Russia).
